![✨ Gifted doesn’t always look like straight A’s.
Many gifted children **don’t excel academically** in the way people expect, and that doesn’t make them any less gifted.
Giftedness can show up as deep curiosity, intense emotions, creative thinking, big questions, asynchronous development, or boredom in traditional classrooms. When a child’s mind moves faster or differently than the system around them, school performance alone doesn’t tell the full story.
A child can struggle with grades **and** still be highly gifted. Both things can be true. 🌱
Understanding the *whole child* matters more than a report card.

![No child is ever a *waste of space.*
When an adult uses words like that, the harm can last far beyond the moment. Children internalize the messages they hear, especially from the adults meant to protect and guide them. Words can shape self-worth, safety, and identity.
Accountability matters. Repair matters. Creating environments where children are spoken to with dignity and respect is not optional. It is foundational.
