Meet the Team

Dr. Tasmia Hai, Ph.D. C.Psych

Clinical & School Psychologist
(she/her)

I’m a Clinical and School Psychologist in Registered to practice in both Manitoba and Ontario with children and adolescents. I completed my PhD in School and Clinical Psychology at the University of Alberta. My current role at WonderTree involves conducting psychological assessment and consultation.

I take a compassionate, individualized approach, recognizing that each child has a unique profile of strengths, needs, and ways of understanding the world. My goal is to help families better understand how their child thinks, learns, and experiences their environment, while also identifying meaningful supports and strategies that can help them thrive at home, at school, and in their daily lives.

Outside of my clinical work, I am an Assistant Professor at the University of Manitoba. My research focuses on children and adolescents with neurodevelopmental challenges, with the goal of better understanding which types of family-based interventions are most helpful in supporting
their development and well-being. When I’m not working, I enjoy traveling, exploring new places, and discovering great food wherever I go.
