Developmental Services Ontario (DSO) Assessment

Goal: Provide a report outlining scores required for DSO applications and providing a diagnosis of an Intellectual Disability (if applicable).

In Ontario, Developmental Services Ontario (DSO) is the access point to Ministry-funded (MCCSS) adult developmental services and supports, such as Passport funding. For youth with developmental disabilities who are looking to transition to adult services, this means applying through DSO to see if they are eligible for Ministry-funded (MCCSS) adult developmental services. At WonderTree, we can assist in this process if needed. Ideally, families can access their school psychologist or potential options via the DSO for form completion and assessment at no cost. However, if this is unavailable to families, our psychologists at WonderTree can assist.

What is the Passport Program? The Passport program is a reimbursement program that helps adults with a developmental disability participate in their community and get respite for their caregivers.
