Meet the Team

Dr. Angela Deotto, C. Psych

Clinical/ Neuro Psychologist
(she/her)

I believe that every child has a unique story, and understanding that story is the first step toward helping them thrive. My role is to partner with children, youth, and their families to better understand their strengths, challenges, and needs, while providing practical guidance and support along the way. Together, we work toward building confidence, resilience, and meaningful strategies that help children succeed at home, at school, and in their everyday lives.

I am a registered Pediatric Psychologist with expertise in Clinical Neuropsychology and Clinical Psychology. Throughout my career in hospitals, community mental health settings, and private practice, I have worked with children and adolescents with diverse learning, developmental, medical, and mental health needs. My experience includes supporting autistic children and youth, as well as young people with other neurodevelopmental disabilities, acquired brain injuries, complex medical conditions, and Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD). My training and clinical work at Surrey Place and The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids) provided opportunities to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and support children with a wide range of strengths, challenges, and goals.

At WonderTree, I provide neuropsychological, psychoeducational, and psychological assessments, consultation, and therapy services. My approach is compassionate, evidence- based, and family-centered, integrating Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and

Commitment Therapy (ACT), and play-based therapy approaches. By taking the time to understand each child's unique strengths, experiences, and challenges, I help families gain clarity and confidence in supporting their child's growth and well-being.
