Meet the Team

Colleen Reilly, BSW RSW

Registered Social Worker
(she/her)

I believe that every person deserves to be seen, heard, understood, and supported. As a social worker with a background in mental health, addictions, and trauma, I bring both professional experience and lived experience as a neurodivergent adult to my work. I was diagnosed with Autism when my first child was young and also being diagnosed with
Autism. I understand that many autistic and ADHD adults spend years wondering why life feels more difficult than it seems to for others. Receiving a diagnosis or discovering a neurodivergent identity later in life can bring relief, grief, and countless questions. It is a privilege for me to walk alongside people as they make sense of their experiences and
discover new ways of living that honour who they truly are.

My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and strengths-based. I believe therapy is not about 'fixing' people—it is about helping them understand themselves more deeply, build on their strengths, and develop practical tools that support the life they want to create.

I draw from a variety of evidence-informed therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Narrative Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Therapy, trauma-informed practice, polyvagal-informed approaches, somatic interventions, mindfulness, and psychoeducation. Together, we choose the approaches that best fit each person's goals and preferences.

Above all, I strive to create a space where people feel safe to be themselves. My hope is that each person leaves therapy with a greater understanding of who they are, increased self-compassion, and practical strategies to navigate life with confidence and authenticity.
