Self - Esteem

Our team of clinicians, including social workers, psychotherapists, and psychologists, has extensive experience supporting children and youth with self-esteem and self-worth challenges. Whether it stems from learning differences, social struggles, anxiety, or past experiences, low self-esteem can impact every area of a child’s life. We work with young people to help them understand themselves, recognize their strengths, and build a more positive inner voice. Our compassionate, strengths-based approach helps children and teens develop the confidence they need to take risks, express themselves, and feel good about who they are. Some services may be covered by private insurance or OAP funding

Self-Esteem

At WonderTree, we understand how easily a child’s self-esteem can be affected by how they’re treated, what they experience, or how they feel about their differences. When kids carry self-doubt, shame, or a constant sense of “not being enough,” it can show up as withdrawal, perfectionism, emotional outbursts, or avoidance. We support children and youth in reconnecting with their strengths, learning to talk kindly to themselves, and feeling proud of who they are. With the right support, children can build a solid foundation of self-worth that helps them move through life with more confidence and resilience

Confidence grows with compassion.
