Parent / Child Relationships

Our team of clinicians, including social workers, psychotherapists, and psychologists, has extensive experience supporting families navigating challenges in parent-child relationships and attachment. Whether working with young children, teens, or parents, we focus on helping families understand one another, communicate more effectively, and create safe, attuned relationships. Our goal is to foster a sense of trust, emotional safety, and mutual respect at home. Some services may be covered by private insurance or OAP funding.

Parent / Child Relationships and Attachment

At WonderTree, we recognize that the parent-child relationship is the foundation for a child’s emotional development and sense of safety in the world. When that connection feels strained, whether due to stress, behavioural challenges, or past disruptions, it can be difficult for both children and caregivers to feel secure and understood. Struggles with attachment can affect everything from emotional regulation to daily routines, and may leave parents feeling stuck or disconnected. Our team helps families navigate these challenges with empathy and insight, working together to build trust, deepen connection, and support healthier patterns of interaction.

Calm, connected, and cared for...
