Autistic Self-Identity Group

At WonderTree, we believe that understanding and embracing who you are is an important part of personal growth. Our Autistic Self-Identity Group provides a supportive and inclusive space for individuals to explore their strengths, experiences, and identity in a positive way. Through discussion, shared experiences, and self-reflection, participants are encouraged to build confidence, self-advocacy skills, and a strong sense of belonging within themselves and their community.

VIRTUAL Autistic Self-Identity Group

We are excited to offer WonderTree’s neuroaffirming Virtual Autistic Self-Identity Group, designed to support autistic youth ages 9 to18 in exploring identity, building confidence, and connecting with peers in a safe and welcoming space. This virtual group provides opportunities for participants to better understand themselves, share experiences, and develop meaningful social connections with others who “get it.”

The group is facilitated by our licensed Occupational Therapist, Kim Hanson and includes contributions from a neurodivergent guest speaker, helping ensure authentic representation and lived-experience perspectives.
